Anaswara P is a Consultant Psychologist based in Calicut. She completed her
B.Sc. in Psychology from St. Xavier’s College, Calicut and her M.Sc. in Applied
Psychology from the University of Calicut, where she secured a Top 10 University Rank in her postgraduate program. She is also SET qualified, further
strengthening her academic and professional credentials.
Her clinical foundation is enriched by diverse internship experiences. At the
Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation, and
Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRC-K), she gained hands-on
experience in child cases, including case history taking, psychological
assessments, and therapeutic support. She also trained at the Government
Mental Health Centre (GMHC), Kuthiravattam, where she worked with adult
psychiatric cases, further broadening her clinical exposure to a wide range of
mental health concerns. In addition to her clinical training, she completed an
internship in Human Resources at Lulu International, which provided her
exposure to organizational psychology practices, workplace well-being, and
employee support, further extending her understanding of psychology into
applied organizational contexts.
Anaswara is deeply committed to inclusive, culturally sensitive, and ethical
mental health practices. She strives to create safe, empathetic, and affirming
spaces where individuals can express themselves freely and work towards
resilience, healing, and self-understanding. Alongside her clinical practice, she is
passionate about breaking the stigma around mental health and making
psychological support more approachable and accessible to people from all
walks of life. Her client-centered approach emphasizes empowerment, helping
individuals build the strength and clarity needed to navigate life’s challenges.
