Arya Kennedy

Arya Kennedy is a Consultant Psychologist from Thrissur, Kerala. She completed
her Post-Graduation in Applied Psychology from the University of Kerala,
Kariavattom Campus. After her undergraduate studies, she undertook a one
year internship at Mithrayalam Special School, where she gained valuable hands
on experience working with children with special needs. During her postgraduate
training, she further strengthened her clinical expertise through an internship at
the Government Mental Health Centre, Thrissur, which enhanced her
understanding of diverse mental health concerns.
Arya’s primary areas of interest include working with Emotionally Unstable
Personality Disorder (EUPD), adult and child mental health concerns, and
supporting individuals facing mild relationship difficulties. Her therapeutic
approach is predominantly person-centred, rooted in the belief that every
individual has the capacity to heal and grow when provided with a safe,
empathetic, and non-judgmental space. She also has prior experience in
supportive therapy, which enriches her ability to provide guidance and comfort
during challenging times.
Beyond her clinical work, Arya values empathy, active listening, communication,
and creativity̶qualities she integrates into her professional and personal life.
She is deeply committed to creating an environment where individuals feel
heard, accepted, and empowered to move towards positive change.
